Memorial Day - Caribbean Style

The Caribbean is a blend of peoples and cultures.  That is also true of the missionary couples who serve with us here in Santo Domingo.  On Memorial Day for family home evening we had a barbeque followed by a patriotic program.  We read Alma 48:11-17 about the great patriot Captain Moroni - "...a man whose soul did joy in the liberty and freedom of his country...(who) had sworn with an oath to defend his people, his rights, and his country, and his religion, even to the loss of his blood."  We then took turns singing our respective countries' national anthem -
